綿 (wata) is the Japanese word for raw cotton. We named ourselves after our only ingredient because we have nothing else to hide behind.
The Problem
Most baby
wipes are
made of
plastic.
Polyester. Polypropylene. Viscose. The FDA doesn't require wipe manufacturers to disclose fabric composition. So most parents never learn that the "gentle" wipe touching their baby's skin is made from synthetic petroleum-derived fibers, chemically bleached to appear white.
Wata is different. Our wipes are made from one material: 100% unbleached American cotton. The cream color you see is the natural color of cotton before chemical processing.
We left it that way on purpose.
No polyester. No polypropylene. No viscose. No synthetic blends of any kind.
99% purified water + organic aloe, glycerin, citric acid & food-grade preservatives.
Up to 35% bigger than typical wipes. Most diaper changes need just 1–2 wipes.
